The Opening Show of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 was by  ESCADA Sport, for the first time presenting their newest collection inside the fashion tent facing Brandenburg Gate. In addition to the catwalk shows and presentations there, the event is strategically timed to align with the various trade fairs and industry events which bring Berlin alive with the global fashion industry twice each year.
