Evangelos Kavathas, based in Athens heard his true calling in fashion design during the “Create Europe: The Fashion Academy Awards” competition, taking place in Athens Fashion Week , where he had been selected among the top 20 new designers to showcase their work.

A year after he won the first prize in the Next Generation Show in the Fashion Week Athens S/S 2010, leading him to represent Greece in the 2009 IAF International Designer Award, at New Delhi where he took the second place in the category, “Most Commercial Design”.

His debut show “Fragile”, took place in March 2010 during the Fashion Week Athens.

Daily-life stimulates his creativity, with his work being a sheer balance between simplicity and sophistication. Contemporary, linear forms with classical references are employed in his attempt to create a time standing result. He approaches his creations with a fresh and fashionable manner with the objective to enhance the femininity of every woman.
