Conquistador was launched in Athens in September 2010 during Vogue's Fashion's Night Out, at the historical hotel Grand Bretagne, with an installation mixing clothes, video, art and live original music composed on the spot, which received an encouraging and overwhelming response from press and buyers. Conquistador balances style and originality in equal measures. Mostly handmade and designed as luxurious as a man can be, the collections are shaping an exciting new brand that s mostly inspired by the all American college hoodie but totally reshaped and deconstructed with contemporary historical references and multifunctional styling options. The predominant material is fine cotton cut and treated like fine thick silk. Natural leather and cotton poplin complete the details of each garment. Natural leather bags and accessories with handmade details along with trousers and short pants complete a total conquistador look. 
The collections are always a blend of primitive and tech, history and avant-garde, tradition and innovation.
It is about the modern citizen, the contemporary rebel and the bold adventurer who discards seasonal trends and is confident with a timeless unique style. "Conquistador is as clear as water. A new urban uniform for the new urban hero" says the mastermind and designer of the label, Tassos Sofroniou.
